Abstract

The title compound, [Ni(C<inf>5</inf>HF<inf>6</inf>O<inf>2</inf>)2(C <inf>12</inf>H<inf>9</inf>BrN<inf>2</inf>)], the NiII atom exhibits a pseudo-octa-hedral coordination geometry. The structure packs throuh C - H⋯Br interactions, forming a hydrogen-bonded ladder. There are also strong hydrogen-bonding interactions between two of the O atoms of the Β-diketonate ligands and two H atoms on the pyridine ring of the Schiff base ligand.
