AI-Driven Intelligent Transportation for Sustainable Business Ecosystems

Abstract

The present chapter describes the colossal significance of sustainable packaging innovations in the development of environmental conservation and responsible consumption. The study also measures reusable solutions like the use of glass and metal containers and smart packaging solutions like the use of a coating and sensor, which improves the keeping of the products and recycles waste. It is a mixed-methods study, which is grounded on primary and secondary data. Primary research was carried out to undertake surveys and interview consumers to understand their perception about sustainable packaging alternatives, their preference, and their awareness. To offer background information and support analytical findings secondary data was collected in the form of scholarly articles, industry publications, and policy documents. The chapter also examines some of the major challenges that pose an impediment to the popularization of innovative packaging, such as the increased production cost, the education of the consumer, and regulatory issues.
